FSB offers exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Concert at the Kings
Business owners are being given the chance to take a peek behind the scenes at the Concert at the Kings rock festival, the evening before the big event.
The Kennet branch of the Federation for Small Businesses has been given access to the backstage area on Friday, May 29.
The organisers will be giving a talk about the Concert, which will be followed by a tour front- and back-stage.
The event includes networking a buffet. Attendance is free.
Concert at the Kings started in 2012 after Andy Scott of seventies rock band Sweet and sound engineer John ‘Grubby’ Callis discussed what they could do to raise awareness about, and money for fighting, prostate cancer.
Now in its fourth year, the concert has raised over £70,000 for cancer and local charities and has seen performances from the likes of Brian May, Midge Ure, Mike & the Mechanics, Sweet, Roger Taylor, Jeff Beck, 10cc, The Straits, and the Boom Town Rats.
This year’s event will be headlined by Squeeze with support from Howard Jones, Lindisfarne, and Sweet.
The FSB event will be held at The Kings Arms, Pub Lane, All Cannings, SN10 3PA from 6pm until 10pm on Friday, May 29.
