Fawcetts renews sponsorship deal with Salisbury Festival
Chartered accountant and business advisor Fawcetts has renewed its sponsorship of the Salisbury International Arts Festival.
The Salisbury-based firm will once again be supporting the family programme of the 2015 Festival, which runs from May 22 to June 6.
Festival director Toby Smith said: “We are delighted to be working with the team at Fawcetts who are continuing their major support of the family programme.
“The Festival’s family programme reaches thousands of people and this year’s events include street theatre, a Family Playday, storytelling, film and puppetry, offering lots of inspiration and fun for families and younger audiences and great profile for Fawcetts.”
Fawcetts partner Richard Allen said: “We are very pleased to continue our support of the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival in this, our eighth year.
“This wonderful fortnight of music and the arts, set in many of Salisbury’s fine venues, does so much to benefit the commercial life of the city and to enrich the lives of its people. It is therefore an easy choice for us to make this our main sponsorship activity.
“We believe many of our clients and our staff benefit so much from the Festival that it is right that we do what we can to support it. This year we have again chosen the family programme because of the sheer fun it will bring to children, their parents and grandparents alike.”
The Festival’s family programme of events includes a production of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Illyria in the Wardrobe Museum Gardens, puppetry in Red Riding Hood, The Journey Home and Arabian Nights plus a children’s literature day. For full details see www.salisburyfestival.co.uk
