Learn how to recruit and retain staff at employment seminar

Business leaders in Marlborough will be able to learn how to recruit the right staff – and keep them once they’ve attracted them – at a free seminar.

The seminar is organised by Marlborough Chamber of Commerce and will be led by locally-based experts in HR, employment law, recruitment, and employee retention.

Michelle Ransome and Jade Cholod from Reed Global will explain how to attract the best recruits to your organisation.

Rebecca McCollum, an associate at Royds Withy King, will give a brief overview of employment law, and update delegates on recent changes around hiring.

Karen Ferris, director at Professionals in Partnership, will discuss HR matters, outlining the legal obligations of employers and their employees.

And Jamie Martin, managing director of Correct Careers Coaching, will share best practice on retaining staff, including skills training and career progression.

There will be opportunities for delegates to ask their own questions of the experts, and plenty of networking opportunities.

The event will be held at Dan’s At the Crown, The Parade, Marlborough on Thursday, March 12 from 4pm to 6pm.
