Business owners can learn how to make video part of their marketing mix

With video set to dominate the social media scene in the next three years, Swindon and Wiltshire business owners are being given the chance to learn how to incorporate the medium into their marketing mix.

A three-hour interactive workshop – How To Use Video To Promote Your Business – will be led by video expert Pam Jones of Eight Interactive at Bowman House Business Centre in Royal Wootton Bassett between 9am and noon on Thursday, July 18.

“It is predicted that by 2022, 80 percent of all online traffic will be from video,” explained Pam, an e-learning expert whose explainer videos distil complex ideas into easy-to-understand animations.

“We’ll look at the types of video businesses can use, how to film video blogs, and how to create a storyboard. The workshop will close with a video script-writing exercise.”
