Bath Uni ranked 6th in UK for graduate job prospects
Graduates of the University of Bath continue to benefit from some of the strongest employment outcomes in the in UK, according to the latest Graduate Outcomes Survey by the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
For the 2023/24 graduating cohort, 87 per cent of Bath’s full-time UK-domiciled first-degree graduates in paid employment in the UK were in high-skilled graduate employment 15 months after completing their studies.
The figure exceeds the average of 71 per cent for Universities UK (UUK) members, placing Bath 6th nationally among this group of institutions.
Helen Stringer, the University of Bath’s director of employability and student success, said: “We’re delighted that the latest Graduate Outcomes Survey reflects both the commitment of our students and the strength of the opportunities available to support their career development.

The University’s performance in the survey reinforces its strong standing across national league tables for graduate prospects:
- 3rd for high-skilled jobs – Daily Mail University Guide 2026
- Joint 5th for career after 15 months – Guardian University Guide 2026
- 6th for graduate prospects in both the Complete University Guide 2027 and the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026
- The University of Bath is consistently ranked within the top 10 in all major UK league tables and sits within the top 125 globally in the latest QS World University Rankings.
The Graduate Outcomes Survey is the UK’s largest annual social survey, capturing the activities and perspectives of graduates 15 months after completing higher education.
It covers all graduates from universities and colleges in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Beyond employment outcomes, the Graduate Outcomes Survey also captures how well graduates feel their current activity aligns with their future goals.
At the University of Bath, 81 per cent of all graduates across all domiciles, modes and levels of study said their current role fits with their future plans, placing the institution 13th nationally.
