Devizes Chamber to network in newly-refurbished Community Hub

Business leaders in Devizes will get a chance to explore the town’s new Community Hub next week.

Wiltshire Council, which is hosting the event, spent £300,000 creating the hub at the town’s library in Sheep Street. Council services were moved from offices at Snuff Street, permitting longer library opening hours, while new meeting spaces were created.

Hireable meeting rooms now host eight and 14 respectively, while the bookshelves have been replaced by racks on casters, meaning the main library area can be cleared to accommodate up to 100 people.

The meeting, from 5.30pm to 7pm on Wednesday, January 31, will also give networkers a chance to hear more about the redevelopment of Devizes Wharf, with an update from Rory Bowen and Helen Clift of the Wiltshire Council Economic Development Team.

Attendance is free. To register for a place visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/business-networking-at-the-hub-tickets-42228867680
