Mini makes the move from Bath to Melksham with Dick Lovett
Plans to move BMW and Mini franchise holder Dick Lovett‘s showroom from Bath town centre to a brownfield site at Melksham are well underway.
The Swindon-based motor dealer announced its plans in 2018. And this week it confirmed the new-build state-of-the-art showroom would be opening before the end of this year.
Behind the snazzy showroom, complete with office suites so that customers can continue to work while waiting for their cars to be serviced or MoTd, technicians will work in a 27 bay workshop.
The showroom – which has space for 11 BMWs and 7 Minis – faces the A350, directly opposite Dick Lovett’s Jaguar franchise, which opened in 2017.
Dick Lovett’s current BMW and Mini dealership, on Bath’s congested Lower Bristol Road, is set to close. The company wants to convert the building into student accommodation.
Dick Lovett has showrooms in Bristol, Cardiff, Hungerford, Melksham, Swindon, and Tewkesbury, and is a franchise dealer for Aston Martin, BMW, BMW Mini, Ferrari, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Porsche.
