Media firm moves to Bassett

Creative design and IT agency Mayan Media has moved into new offices at Royal Wootton Bassett’s Manor House Enterprise Centre.

“It was just luck that we heard about Manor House Enterprise Centre from a business colleague,” said Craig Pickett, one half of the partnership. “They had a great choice of quality offices, so the decision was simple.”

Mayan Media is more than just a web design business, specialising in video production and IT solutions as well as branding and print design.

“Our business focuses on great design and professional presentation – so we need an office and meeting space that project the right feel.”

“Manor House Enterprise Centre is perfect for us,” said Darryl James. “As well as a smart office, we can use the excellent training and meeting rooms for our events and for meeting clients. It really is excellent value for money, which is particularly important when you’re setting up a new business – and I can get free business advice too.”

Manor House is one of a network of enterprise centres set up and run by The Enterprise Network (TEN), a Wiltshire Council initiative to nurture new and growing businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire, supporting them from the first ‘light bulb’ moment.

“The Centre’s success is down to our affordable and flexible office space, reliable high-speed broadband and free business advice,” says Centre manager Jolyon Rose. “We offer hot-desks and virtual office facilities too.”
