Swindon’s first eyebrow Master Stylist to open in Old Town

Swindon’s first eyebrow Master Stylist is to open a salon in Swindon’s Old Town, in a deal brokered by commercial property agents Kavanaghs.

Beautician Elena Cocca has clients across the UK keen to benefit from her eyebrow treatments. She established her business in 2017 after training in beauty therapy at Swindon College.

Negotiations to take on the lease of 51 Godwin Court, just off Wood Street, began before lockdown and were recently completed.

Stephen Brickell, commercial property manager at Kavanaghs, said: “We are pleased to have concluded the letting as we begin to come back to normal now lockdown is easing. We put the property on the market just before the pandemic hit and had a great deal of interest. That the deal has held together, along with us still receiving strong interest in the property, is testament to the confidence in both the town and the retail sector.”

“The property is a ground floor shop with prominent display window to Godwin Court which forms part of the primary retail area of Old Town and is a busy thoroughfare linking Godwin Court to Wood Street.

“We are particularly pleased to have let the property on a new full repairing and insuring lease at the asking rent of £11,500 pax.”
