Former Swindon bar hits The Spot for investment company
The Old Town building occupied until recently by late-night bar The Spot has been sold to Swindon-based investment company Ridgevale Estates for close to its asking price of £700,000.
The new owners plan to convert the upper parts of the building into residential accommodation, while letting the ground floor commercial premises, according to property agents Kilpatrick & Co, who handled the sale.
“We are delighted to have sold the freehold of the property,” said property agent Stephen Brickell. “The property was marketed for sale at an asking price of £700,000 and we are delighted to have achieved very near the asking price.”
