Council offers a peek at Panattoni Park progress

A peek of progress at Swindon’s Panattoni Park has been offered by the local council.

Posting to social media, the local authority said council leader Jim Robbins and Swindon North MP Will Stone had been given a tour of the new business park, which is emerging phoenix-like from the ashes of the Honda manufacturing plant.

The 1.5 million sq ft of space includes a 545,000 sq ft unit, with the full steel frame up and cladding well underway and 915,000 sq ft earthworks completed, with steel going up from next month.

Panattoni is investing £320 million in the initial phase of development, and has committed to investing three times that figure over the next few years, creating thousands of jobs in Swindon.

The current speculative units will be ready for occupation in the first quarter of next year, offering market-leading opportunities for occupiers.
