Property developer Arthur Dallimer creates seven historic homes at Swindon manor
Property developer Arthur Dallimer, in partnership with funding specialist Hodge, has successfully transformed the historic Burderop Park Farmhouse into seven luxury heritage homes.
The project marks another significant step in his broader plans for the 17-acre Wiltshire estate.
Arthur (right) acquired the Grade II*listed Burderop House and its surrounding buildings and he’s been working tirelessly to renovate the estate’s various listed buildings.
“I’ve always intended to restore the entire site, while honouring its rich history and heritage,” Arthur said.
“With the support of the team at Hodge, I’ve been able to renovate outbuildings to create seven luxury homes which sit within the grounds of the main house estate.
“This marks another completion of the exciting phase of my vision for this stunning area of Wiltshire.
“Many of the outbuildings were historic, with beautiful features, but they had fallen into disrepair over time.
“We’ve invested nearly £1 million into this part of the development, and we’re excited to soon welcome new residents,” Arthur remarked.
He emphasised the importance of preserving the buildings’ original charm, and the renovation process required careful attention to detail.
“The windows and doors are original, and now, these seven homes within the estate will help breathe new life into the entire property and surroundings area,” Arthur said.
Hodge, which has its HQ in Cardiff, has supported the project from its early stages.
Founded by Sir Julian Hodge more than 60 years ago, the bank has a long history of financing specialist sectors, particularly those underserved by traditional financial institutions.
Hodge provides real estate finance options for professional property developers and investors.

Arthur regularly partners with investors and organisations like Hodge Bank to bring his property projects to life.

Arthur is well known within Wiltshire as a dynamic property developer.
He is also the developer behind ambitious plans for Apsley House in Old Town, Swindon which was the former town museum and art gallery, it’s hoped that work will start on this project before the Spring.
