Former headquarters of Swindon software company being sold for flats
The former Swindon headquarters of software company Appsbroker is being sold for £3 million, with permission to convert the premises into flats.
Appsbroker was founded in 2006 by CEO Mike Conner, and by 2023 it was Google’s largest Premier Partner in Europe, delivering cloud services to household names from retail to finance to automotive.
The firm employed 200 people at its headquarters in Old Town, Swindon and at offices in London, Germany, and Romania and was named among the fastest-growing founder-led private companies in the UK.
In that same year the company merged with Manchester-based CTS Technology Solutions to become Qodea. The new company is based in Manchester.
The 10,000 sq ft Appsbroker House at 2 The Square, Old Town is now for sale for £3 million.
The property was developed in 1984 behind a part Grade II Listed façade and is nearing completion of a residential conversion into 14 flats set over three storeys and a basement.
The property is being marketed by Whitmarsh Lockhart.
