Salisbury tech firm marks 20 years of business
Digital agency Blue Frontier has marked two decades in business at its end-of-year Christmas gathering.
This year has seen the opening of a fourth office in London, a fully rebranded website, and the launch and completion of their Year of 20s initiative, aimed at supporting business and wider industry growth, and giving back to local communities and charities.
In 2025 the company has driven innovation with new R&D projects, participated in more industry-leading events, donated to charitable organisations, and supported the next generation of digital talent with work placements.
Armed with a new market research service, the agency has continued to provide unique insights and primary data courtesy of in-depth blogs and the launch of their new whitepaper series, exploring the top digital trends affecting businesses and the NHS in light of the exponential rise of AI.
The agency, which was founded by MD James Fry and Luke Harrington, development director, in October 2005, has grown from a small team headquartered in Salisbury to a team of almost 100 strong and additional offices in Southampton, Bristol, and London.
On December 6 over two-thirds of the company came together for an evening’s celebration at the Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Tisbury, each receiving a special newspaper detailing significant company moments from the past 20 years.
“Over the last 20 years, my role in building this company has been as challenging as it has been rewarding,” said James.
“It is a genuine privilege to work with so many talented people, and it is something I am grateful for every day.
“Together, we have forged a business to withstand a myriad of difficult challenges, while supporting individual growth and ambition for each of us, as well as for our clients. I am very proud indeed of what we have been able to achieve.”
