Innovative growth programme for Wiltshire SMEs launched

A fully-funded business growth programme has been launched by Wiltshire Council and delivery partner BIC Innovation.

The Growth Collective is a new initiative designed to help manufacturing and production SMEs overcome growth challenges and achieve sustainable success by embracing new ideas and tools to look at how they can grow their business in an innovative way.

Members of the cohort will also learn how digital technologies can help move their business forward and gain a competitive advantage.

The programme is part of the Fit for Growth initiative and provides a unique opportunity for manufacturing and production business owners, managers, and business development professionals to access expert guidance and collaborate with peers.

The Growth Collective programme will offer a series of expert-led workshops and webinars focusing on the key drivers of business growth, including:

• Risk Analysis: Mitigating potential business risks in an unpredictable market.
• Funding & Finance Strategies: Unlocking financial opportunities to fuel growth.
• Future-Proofing Skills: Developing skills to innovate and stay competitive in an evolving marketplace.
• Marketing & Planning: Creating strategies to increase visibility and sales.
• Business Growth Strategies: Innovating to seize new market opportunities and using digital technologies to boost growth.

Starting on October 29, the programme – which includes in-person events at White Horse Enterprise Centre in Trowbridge and webinars – is designed for manufacturing and production businesses looking to scale, develop their operations, and secure long-term success.

Through interactive workshops, participants will collaborate with industry experts and fellow business leaders to exchange ideas, solve real-world challenges, and gain practical insights.

The Fit For Growth Programme is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered by BIC Innovation Ltd on behalf of Wiltshire Council. It is open to SMEs operating in the Wiltshire Council area.
