Care at home company relocates to expand the business
Growing care at home company Bluebird Care Swindon has doubled the size of its offices to herald future expansion.
Bluebird Care Swindon, which has been operating since October 2011, now employs some 45 staff and looks after well over 100 people in their own homes, largely elderly people or adults with disabilities who need support to be able to live independently.
It has moved from its original offices in Churchward Place to a new suite on Groundwell Industrial Estate, which, at 700 sq feet, doubles its space.
Managing director Ben Curtis said the move gave the business more room to accommodate the central office team needed to run the operation, as well as more storage space.
“We are growing rapidly, we believe thanks to our reputation for providing good, old-fashioned care at home,” he said. “The majority of our customers are private clients, and we would like to help many more people but we needed the room to accommodate an increase in staff numbers.
“We now have more than 45 people on the team and we are recruiting, but although we have plans to grow we will remain an independent company, which is what enables us to provide a really high-quality, tailored service.”
