Government advice event aims to help start-ups

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is hosting a free advice session and workshops for small businesses, entrepreneurs and potential start-ups in Swindon next week.

The event, sponsored by the Government’s Space for Growth programme, will provide an opportunity to find out more information on the range of support available for starting or growing a business, as well as free and low cost office space and meeting rooms for small businesses, entrepreneurs and charities.

Organisations including Outset Swindon, The Enterprise Network, and Federation of Small Businesses, Swindon Chamber of Commerce, NatWest Bank, Barclays Bank, HSBC Bank and X-Forces will be running talks and workshops.
