Bike takes centre stage at Monahans breakfast

John Macnaughtan, of the Moulton Bicycle Company, will be the guest speaker at Monahans’ Chippenham Breakfast Club on Wednesday, April 30.

John will talk about Turning a Hobby Into a Business. He will talk about the history of the Moulton Bicycle Company, from its roots in the 1960s, and explain how a struggling business in 2008 was turned around into a successful UK manufacturer and international exporter.

In December last year, Moulton Bicycles joined prime minuter David Cameron on a trade visit to China.

The Prime Minister commented “The success of Moulton Bikes in China is an inspiration to small businesses and shows China’s appetite for UK design and engineering. They have provided China with a high-spec model, specifically designed for their needs, and it’s great they’ll get to showcase their amazing bikes during our visit.”
