Energy firm shortlisted for BEST awards

Corsham-based SMARTech energy Ltd has been shortlisted for two awards at the International Partner Conference Awards from BEST – British Energy Saving Technology, leaders in the design and manufacture of energy saving technology.

The awards celebrate the significant energy reduction achievements of businesses across the globe and of those who are making a difference in the fight against climate change.

MD Stuart Pearce, has been announced as a finalist in the Energy Champion of the Year category, while SMARTech energy has been named as a finalist in the category of Most Innovative Energy Saving Project of 2018 – for its work at Swindon’s Link Leisure Centre, – which enabled the facility to embark upon a programme to achieve a 40 percent reduction in its electricity and 33 percent on gas energy consumption.

“Businesses and organisations need to embrace the greener approach to energy usage and treat it as an opportunity to not only protect the environment, but to reduce their energy costs,” said Stuart.

“We are delighted to be recognised for our work in helping businesses and organisations to achieve carbon reduction and better sustainability practices.”

The winners will be announced in London on November 9 at the BEST International Partner International Conference.
