A warning about the financial future of the voluntary sector in Wiltshire has been issued by Wiltshire Community Foundation.

A Malmesbury charity funded by a coronavirus appeal grant has celebrated delivering its 4,000th meal since the start of the pandemic.

Heals has been awarded £10,000 from the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund, which has now raised more than £1 million and has so far distributed almost £700,000 to more than 170 groups.

A Swindon charity that provides a vital transport lifeline to elderly and vulnerable people has been given a boost from the Wiltshire Community Foundation.

Swindon Dial A Ride has been awarded £10,000 from the community foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund, which has now raised more than £950,000 and distributed more than £600,000 to 167 groups, to help it continue its service when the lockdown eases.
