Withy King staff don hats for Headway

Solicitors and support staff from Withy King’s offices in Swindon and Marlborough wore a colourful assortment of hats to work on Friday (16 May) to mark national Action for Brain Injury Week.

Withy King’s involvement in Hats for Headway Day raised over £250 for brain injury charity, Headway – one of the firm’s chosen charities for the year.

“It was great to receive so much support from colleagues who wore a wide variety of hats, many homemade, to work in the name of Headway,” said Stuart Brazington, a partner in the Personal Injury team at Withy King and head of the firm’s brain and spinal injuries unit. “The monies raised will help to assist them in the vital work they do in supporting people affected by brain injury.”

Withy King will be undertaking fund-raising activities throughout the year for Headway, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Bath RUH’s Forever Friends Appeal.

A summer of sponsored sport is planned. This includes the Three Peaks Challenge which will see a team of 24 walkers and four drivers from Withy King scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in less than 24 hours, starting on the 12 June. Teams from Withy King will also be participating in the Bike Bath cycle ride on 28 June and Bike Oxford cycle ride on the 7 September.
