Alison is well known as the founder of Sales Coaching Solutions, a specialist sales training provider based in Wiltshire. Her company focuses on sales and customer service training for start-up enterprises, SMEs and corporate organisations. The company is also a pioneer in the government’s Growth Vouchers initiative.

Alison has also been appointed as the regional representative for the South West on the national Growth Vouchers Promotional Panel, helping to introduce the scheme to companies wanting to grow their business.

During the two-day mission to New York, organised by Enterprise Nation, Alison will visit the premises of Etsy, an online e-commerce site for handmade and vintage items and meet members of the growing Freelancers Union.

Guest speakers for the event, organised by Enterprise Nation, include angel investor Heidi Messer, Judith Clegg, founder of TakeOut who divides her time between London and New York, and Rachel Shechtman, founder of Story, New York’s most successful retail pop-up.
