Team grows at Marlborough office of RBC Brewin Dolphin

The intermediary team at wealth management firm RBC Brewin Dolphin in Marlborough has grown, with some new appointments and promotions.

Gareth Evans – who has been with the company since 2018 – has been promoted to divisional director. He now heads up the intermediary team, which manages portfolios for independent financial advisers on behalf of their clients, and works alongside Christopher Harris, divisional director.

Jacob Lythe, who has been with the firm for seven years, has been made an associate investment manager. Meanwhile John Canning (22) and Tom Dyer (23) who joined the firm as investment management assistants are working towards their diplomas and chartered wealth manager status, while also providing day to day investment support together with Teresa Kerry (investment management assistant) and Adynna Ling (senior administrative assistant), who oversees all the essential administrative work.

RBC Brewin Dolphin Marlborough office, which is headed up by Stephen Depla (not pictured) now employs 30 professionals from its office in the Marlborough Business Park. The firm rebranded in September after being acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada.
