PKF Francis Clark rated one of UK’s Best Workplaces in consulting & professional services
Bristol- and Salisbury-based accountancy firm PKF Francis Clark has been recognised as a leading employer on a new list of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services, launched yesterday (Thursday) by Great Place to Work UK.
A focus on wellbeing, professional development and a friendly, supportive culture are among the strengths praised by colleagues at the chartered accountancy firm in an anonymous survey on which the list is based.
Amy Taylor, chief people officer at PKF Francis Clark, said: “Our success as a firm depends on recruiting and retaining the best people to deliver an outstanding service to our clients, so it’s very pleasing to receive this recognition.
“Our place on this prestigious list of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services is driven by the holistic feedback colleagues have shared with Great Place to Work UK about their experiences of working here.
“Whilst that’s hugely satisfying, we’re always listening to our people and looking at what more we can do to make PKF Francis Clark an even better place to work.”
With over 900 members of staff, PKF Francis Clark is highlighted as a top achiever in the large employer category of the Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services list, created using anonymous feedback from employees of firms in a diverse range of knowledge-intensive sectors, from legal services to management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising.
Great Place To Work UK asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations of the survey results also included an assessment of how well organisations deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Publication of the Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services list comes as applications open for PKF Francis Clark’s 2024 apprenticeship programmes. The firm – with offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Poole, Salisbury, Southampton, Taunton, Torquay and Truro – was recently ranked 28th among the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers in England for 2023.
Since being certified as a Great Place to Work, PKF Francis Clark has been ranked among the UK’s Best Workplaces, Best Workplaces for Wellbeing and Best Workplaces for Women.
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place to Work UK, said: “While navigating this ever-changing landscape, the Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services have galvanised their people proposition by placing employee wellbeing at the forefront of their company cultures – and enjoyed better business performance and staff retention as a result.
“It’s great to see so many examples of organisations making their workplaces truly ‘great’. A huge congratulations to PKF Francis Clark for making one of our most prestigious lists.”
