Businesses invited to attend charity ball in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance

BBC sports pundit, columnist and former England rugby player, David ‘Flats’ Flatman will be the guest speaker at a charity ball which is being held to raise vital funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Businesses are invited to attend the charity ball which is being organised and hosted by Wiltshire-based law firm Withy King, Barclays and communications and IT company Excalibur at the Alexandra House Hotel, Wroughton, Swindon on Friday, 27 February.

Partner Chris Kane, who heads Withy King’s charities committee, said: “We hope Wiltshire’s business community will join us for what promises to be a memorable and highly entertaining evening in aid of an incredibly worthwhile cause. Wiltshire Air Ambulance is one of Withy King’s chosen charities as voted for by our staff and what better way to help raise money for their vital work in the community, than by throwing a party. This is a great opportunity for business leaders to get together to network, entertain guests or reward staff members and teams.”

Rebecca de la Bedoyere, Fundraising Manager at Wiltshire Air Ambulance, said: “We are immensely pleased and grateful that Withy King is supporting us. They’ve raised funds for us in so many ways already, and the charity ball is their most ambitious and exciting event to date. It looks set to be a brilliant night, and we really hope that businesses in the community will take part knowing that as well as having a great time, they’ll be helping to fund our life-saving work across Wiltshire and beyond.”

The black tie event begins with a drinks reception at 6.30pm and will be followed by a three-course dinner, talk by David Flatman and charity auction. Live music will be provided by band Paradox until 1am.

Tickets cost £75 each or £645 for a table of 10. To reserve your place, please visit: www.withyking.co.uk/charity-ball-wiltshire
