Britain’s best fleet cars named at Fleet World awards
Britain’s best fleet cars have been named at the Fleet World awards.
Korean manufacturer Kia picked up the award for Manufacturer of the Year, while the Kia Sportage was named Best Fleet Medium SUV.
MG Motors was tipped for future success with the Fleet Rising Star award.
BMW took the prizes for Best Executive Car, for its 5 Series, and Best Compact Executive, for the 3 Series, while Mercedes-Benz scooped the Best Luxury Car title for its S-Class.
Škoda took home two trophies: Best Lower Medium Fleet Car for the Škoda Octavia and Best Upper Medium Fleet Car for the Škoda Superb.
The crown for the Best Fleet Large SUV was retained by the SEAT Tarraco. The Toyota Yaris Cross was named Best Fleet Small SUV and the Vauxhall Corsa Best Fleet Supermini.
In the commercial vehicles category, Ford was named Van Manufacturer of the Year and the Ford Transit Custom won the Van of the Year while the Ford Transit Courier picked up the award for Small Van of the Year and the Ford Transit Custom was named Medium Van of the Year.
That left a handful of titles for the Volkswagen Caddy for Compact High-Cube Van of the Year, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for Large Van of the Year, Toyota Hilux for Pickup of the Year, and Iveco Daily for Light Truck of the Year.
And in the EV category, the Citroën ë-Dispatch/Peugeot e-Expert/Vauxhall Vivaro-e/Toyota Proace-electric shared the prize for Best EV Van while the Porsche Taycan was named Best EV Executive Car and the Kia EV6 was named Best EV Compact Executive Car.
The prize for Best EV Medium SUV went to Audi Q4 e-tron while the Volkswagen ID.3 was named Best EV Lower Medium SU.
The Kia e-Niro was named Best EV Small SUV, the Peugeot e-208 was crowned Best EV Supermini, and the Best EV City Car award went to Fiat for its 500-e.
