The U14s Foothills team, part of the Swindon-based Wims11 Football Academy, were presented with their shirts before heading to Blackpool for an 11-a-side tournament featuring teams from across the UK.

The team finished second out of 30 teams, winning seven matches in the heats before losing 1-0 to Rutherford AFC from Gateshead in the final.

“As an employee-owned business it is nice to be able to support a local grassroots team who clearly have a such a positive impact on young people and their families in the community,” said NSBRC managing director Harvey Fremlin.
