Wadworth brewery puts best foot forward with Wadwoof Walkies

Dog lovers from Wadworth Brewery will be raising money for Dogs Trust for International Dog Day on Friday (August 25) with their second annual Wadwoof Walkies.

The walk takes place around the brewery’s home town of Devizes, starting and finishing at the Tap & Shop.

The event is open to the general public. Last year, over 37 dogs and 50 people attended the event and raised £325 for Dogs Trust.

Sarah Berry, head of marketing at Wadworth said: “As a dog-loving brewery with dog-friendly pubs and beer gardens dotted all over the South and West, we can’t let this special calendar date go by without marking it, Wadworth-style.

“We hope to raise a good amount of money for Dogs Trust in honour of their tireless work for our four-legged friends.”

The walk starts promptly at 5.30pm and event-goers can choose from a 30-min or 1-hour route. Entry costs £10 per person and is payable on the day. All proceeds will be donated to Dogs Trust.

Every dog that completes the course will receive a rosette and a glug of dog-friendly beer.
