Digital marketing firm The Pursuit Agency shortlisted for two business awards
Rob Curtis, founder of Swindon-based digital marketing agency The Pursuit Agency has been shortlisted for two business awards in recognition of the achievements he has made in the less than two years.
Entrepreneur Rob set up The Pursuit Agency in July 2022, having previously worked for other marketing agencies and enjoying a first-class reputation as an expert in his field.
Rob (34) hit the ground running and The Pursuit Agency turned over more than £50,000 in its first quarter alone.
The business quickly moved from the founder’s kitchen table to premises at the Workshed in Swindon and Rob put a robust growth strategy in place to take the business forward.
“I remain stunned and amazed about what has happened over the last eighteen months and I am utterly thrilled to be starting 2024 by being shortlisted for two more awards,” he says.
“We work incredibly hard at The Pursuit Agency to get our clients the results they need and deserve and it’s wonderful to be recognised for what we’ve achieved and the difference we’ve been able to make to other businesses’ success.
“Thanks so much to the South-West Business Awards’ judging panel. It’s an honour to be recognised and shortlisted.”
The South-West Business Awards celebrate the achievements of businesses, charities and inspirational individuals across the region.
Categories include Business of the Year, Start-Up of the Year, Networker of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Rob has been shortlisted in the categories of Male Entrepreneur of the Year and SME of the Year.
As well as being strongly driven to get superb results for his clients, Rob’s ethos from day one of The Pursuit Agency has been to position his company as an important part of the local community.
“With a firm belief that businesses have not just a responsibility to provide local employment but that they should also be setting an example for the community as a whole and powering a pride in the local area, Rob is absolutely committed to ensuring the future of The Pursuit Agency is intimately connected to the needs of the local area and how his business can best support it.
“The key is to see opportunity in collaboration,” says Rob. “Seeing everyone as the competition is a divisive and outdated way of conducting business when the fact is, in the modern world, everyone does well if we all work together towards a common goal.
“Being locked into the local community, working with local businesses and doing what we can to make all of us better and more successful has been embedded into everything we do since I started the business at my kitchen table just over 18 months ago.
“It’s this outlook that I believe will encourage further investment in the local area in the future and a pride and commitment from people about where they live and work. Business and community are really closely linked, and I think that’s exactly how it should be.”
The South-West Business Awards ceremony takes place on February 2 at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Swindon.
