New staff join expanding IT company
Fast-growing IT support company Sensata has appointed a new manager to the sales team, Darren Beggan, who brings with him a wealth of experience from both sales and the IT industry.
“I already knew Sensata was a professional company, and when they relocated to larger premises at Royal Wootton Bassett earlier this year it was a clear indication of their intention to grow,” said Darren. “I’m really looking forward to being part of the process and helping the business to expand.”
During his career Darren, 39, has been sales and marketing manager for a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 company. He has extensive experience in the IT industry, having been with companies in both Bristol and Swindon.
Darren, who is married with two children, is also active in the Swindon community. He is on the Swindon Charity Ball committee, a member of the Swindon Chamber of Commerce council and a Swindon Town FC season ticket holder.
Chris Griffin, Sensata technical director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Darren to the team. He has a wealth of experience in both sales management and the IT support industry. When we moved earlier this year to our new premises in Royal Wootton Bassett it was our intention to grow the business and Darren will help us to do just that.”
Sensata also has a new sales administrator, Emma-May Dean, to support the business undertaking all day-to-day office functions at the company’s headquarters in Coped Hall Business Park.
Emma-May said she was delighted with her new role, which will be pivotal in helping the team meet customers’ needs, and to be given the opportunity to work at Sensata.
