Technical consultant Phil Cater has joined the team at Swindon-based IT company Sensata, which is seeing a surge in business.
Originally from Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire, Phil, 32, has been in the IT industry since taking his A’levels and has worked for a range of companies in the Midlands and South West.
His roles have included IT manager, managing multiple sites and a support team; technical manager for a managed service provider; and technical consultant for a range of customers. During his career he has gained multiple Microsoft certifications along with other qualifications.
“I’ve work in Information Technology since I left school and my career has consisted of different key roles in the industry, which has aided my understanding, skills and knowledge of IT and the impact it has on businesses,” said Phil.
“I have joined a great team of people at Sensata, who are all willing to go the extra mile for our customers, making sure we deliver the best service possible. I personally have some exciting work ahead with projects for our clients from infrastructure upgrades through to managing the removal of Windows XP due to end of support from Microsoft”.
Sensata are pleased to welcome Phil to the team and look forward to him progressing along with the company.
