Wansbroughs expands family law team
Devizes law firm Wansbroughs has expanded its law team with the appointment of Nicola Grosvenor.
Nicola specialises in financial and property disputes between divorcees and unmarried couples as well as in matters involving children.
For increasing numbers of clients, divorce can involve dealing with company affairs, property, family trusts and pensions as well as dealing with the emotional impact of a separation.
“From the growing trend of pre-nuptial agreements, which courts will increasingly take into account, through to the complications that arise from previous relationships and shared business interests, separating from a partner or spouse is an increasingly complex and difficult process,” explained Nicola.
“Over the years I’ve come to understand that, despite the breakdown of their relationship, most couples wish to retain their dignity and their respect for each other during the divorce or separation process, and that, especially where children are involved, a constructive and co-operative approach provides the best solution,” said Nicola.
“Minimising potential conflict and creating a resolution can be the most important part a legal adviser can play in a family or divorce problem, and helping create a situation within which both sides can work in the future is key.”
The Wanbroughs family team offer a free 30-minute consultation to to couples experiencing problems.
“Professional help may not stop the problem, but a free chat can help people become aware of the options available to them.”
