SWLEP seeks a new board member

The organisation charged with leading economic growth in Swindon and Wiltshire is looking for new board members.

Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership brings representatives from Swindon Borough Council, Wiltshire Council, the military, and a wide range of private sector organisations around the table to ensure that enterprise and economic development are given full consideration in public sector decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in an ownership or senior managerial capacity and a proven track record of providing strategic leadership to achieve business objectives.

They will also be able to demonstrate expertise and experience of working within the SME, digital, education or housing sectors.

The role is voluntary, but high profile, and successful candidates will exert genuine influence on the prosperity and future development of the Swindon and Wiltshire area at an exciting and strategically important time.
