Sensata falls in with sponsorship for Remembrance ball
IT Services business, Sensata, is cementing its roots in the local community by agreeing to be the headline sponsor for the Royal Wootton Bassett Remembrance Charity Ball.
The Remembrance Ball is being organised by the Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett and is being held at The Wiltshire Hotel on Friday, November 7.
All proceeds raised from the evening will be given to the Forces charity SSAFA Wilts, which provides lifelong support to anyone and their families who is currently serving or has ever served in the Armed Forces.
Chris Griffin, technical director, said “Having recently relocated the business to Royal Wootton Bassett, given the centenary marking of the start of the 1st World War this year, the significant part the town played for the repatriations of our fallen troops in recent conflicts and also Remembrance Sunday coming up, we are extremely proud to be involved and supporting this very worthy cause.”
Ceri Pridding, president of the Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett Town said “We are delighted to welcome Sensata as headline sponsor and cannot thank them enough for their generous sponsorship. This will increase the total amount we want to raise for SSAFA Wilts on the evening. It is fantastic to have the support of a local company who earlier this year moved into the town and they have fully embraced what we want to achieve.”
Sensata IT, a Microsoft Partner, has celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year and has expanded its operations by moving to bigger premises and increasing the number of people employed from the local area. They provide IT Support and Services to Small to Medium Sized businesses in Swindon, Wiltshire and the M4 corridor as an outsourced provider or with companies where there is an existing IT department.
Tickets for the ball are still available at £35 per head and can be purchased by contacting Ceri Pridding on 01793 854136 or email rwbrotaryevents@gmail.com
