Seminar will turn spotlight on retirement planning
The last in a trilogy of events aimed at business owners wanting to move on is being staged in Swindon this month by Banks, Chartered Accountants.
The free Retirement Planning seminar, for anyone wanting to retire or semi-retire, will be held at Banks’s Stratton offices on Wednesday June 18, from 5.45pm for a 6pm to 7pm seminar followed by buffet.
The seminar follows on from Banks’ Value of a Business and Sale of a Business events, which were both well-attended.
Guest speakers are Amanda Barnett, financial adviser with Grosvenor Consultancy, Banks director Richard Mathews and David Carroll, of Carroll Consulting.
Following a long and successful career in business, David has spent the last six years working with owner/managers helping to facilitate company sales, introduce growth plans, develop management teams and help the transition from fulltime work to complete or semi-retirement.
Amanda is based in Banks’ offices one afternoon each week, advising Banks’ clients on a range of subjects, including retirement planning, protection, and savings.
Richard said: “Our first event, looking at the Value of a Business, helped business owners focus on where to start when it comes to moving on from their business. Our second looked at the issues related to selling business, and this third and final seminar takes it one stage further, by examining retirement planning.”
Booking for this free event is via the Banks’ website at www.banksca.co.uk or by emailing claire.hunt@banksca.co.uk
