Renewables expert to speak at BanksBHG Energy Forum
Energy expert Christopher Hughes-Rees will be breezing in to talk about wind and solar power at a breakfast forum from Swindon accountants BanksBHG.
Chartered accountant Christopher spent 20 years in the oil and gas industry before setting up Mezaro Energy in 2001 to advise lenders and developers investing in offshore wind and polar power.
His talk will concentrate on climate change challenges, and the world, European and UK attitudes to renewables.
Changes and risks inherent in government policy will also be explored, and there will be time for questions and answers.
The forum is being held at the Banks BHG Offices, Vicarage Court, 160 Ermin Street, Swindon, SN3 4NE on Friday, March 6 from 7.30am until 9am. Attendance is free.
