Rail commuters get a cheerier greeting – thanks to Hills
Rail commuters alighting at Westbury station are getting a cheerier welcome, thanks in part to Hills Waste Solutions.
The firm has donated 40 bags of its Warrior Compost to the Friends of Westbury Station – enough to fill three platers to brighten up the platform.
The station improvements follow the launch of the Trans-Wilts rail service earlier this month. The new service, which is operated by First Great Western and backed by Wiltshire Council with government funding, connects Swindon to Westbury via Chippenham, Melksham and Trowbridge.
The service runs every two hours on weekends and weekends, and the whole journey takes just 48 minutes.
