New programme of business events gets underway
A new series of free networking events and seminars hosted by Swindon’s Banks BHG accountants kicks off next month.
The first, on Wednesday September 10, is a networking breakfast aimed at professional business people, and runs from 7.30 to 9am at Banks BHG’s offices in Stratton.
Hundreds of business people have taken advantage of the events since the firm started running them two years ago.
Some – like the professionals’ breakfast – are solely for networking, while others include a presentation on topics which have ranged from retirement planning and property, to intellectual property and the Budget.
This season, the presentations will focus on auto-enrolment, which will see all employers having to automatically enrol qualifying staff in pension schemes.
“The events are very popular with business people as they provide an opportunity for networking and, for the topic-based seminars, some very valuable information,” said Richard Mathews, Banks BHG director.
“We’ve had some great speakers and topics, hopefully providing something to interest everyone.”
All the events are held at Banks BHG’s offices in Vicarage Court, Ermin Street, Stratton. For more details, or to book, visit www.banksbhg.com or email events@banksbhg.com
