Networkers can catch JoJo Maman Bébé founder at streaming events
Technology has come to the rescue of Wiltshire businesses who have missed out on meeting Laura Tenison MBE, owner of international mother and baby brand JoJo Maman Bébé, at a free event at Trowbridge on February 5 organised by The Enterprise Network.
The networking lunch and presentation itself has sold out, but local businesses can still pick up live tips for growth from Laura and from Sam Gompels of Melksham-based Gompels HealthCare, because the event will be live-streamed to The Enterprise Network’s three other Enterprise Centres at Royal Wootton Bassett, Ludgershall and Salisbury from 12.30 until 2pm.
Organiser Rachel Finlay from The Enterprise Network, said: “This second event of our Enterprise Series of events for local businesses has already virtually sold out but businesses can come to our other centres and watch the keynote presentation live in the comfort of our networking suites.
“They can join in a live Q&A session using Twitter and stay on to network with local business colleagues whilst enjoying a free lunch and refreshments.”
Local businesses attending the event in Trowbridge can still book free one-to-one advice sessions with experts covering financial planning, developing and protecting new ideas, exporting, selling skills, people management, maximising IT, branding and marketing. There will also be a morning seminar focusing on how to make businesses ‘Fit for Growth’.
Organised by The Enterprise Network Swindon and Wiltshire, and held at TEN’s White Horse Enterprise Centre just outside Trowbridge, the full day ‘GROW’ event will inspire and support Wiltshire businesses.
The Enterprise Network Swindon and Wiltshire, a £5.2m initiative led by Wiltshire Council with Government and EU funding, is nurturing new and growing small and micro businesses by supporting them right from the first ‘light bulb’ moment.
It has four Enterprise Centres across Wiltshire offering affordable offices, meeting rooms, co-working and networking opportunities alongside free, impartial, business advice.
