Microsoft partner IMEX starts apprentice search
Malmesbury-based IMEX, one of the south west’s leading IT providers and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has launched a search for a talented young candidate to join its team as an apprentice.
IMEX provides outsourced IT support and management services to SME business and organisations. In March it was awarded Gold Certified Partner by Microsoft for its know-how and expertise in delivering cloud-based services, particularly the Microsoft 365 suite.
The award put the firm in the top one percent of Microsoft’s UK partners.
The successful apprenticeship candidate is promised hands on experience as a member of the technical team, and will gain qualifications from Microsoft.
The position will focus on learning the role of a first line support analyst, including eleven weeks’ instructor-lead tuition at QA, a specialist training company based in Swindon.
Keith Cleverley, support director of IMEX said “We are delighted to be able to offer a candidate from Malmesbury and the surrounding area an apprentice position once again.
“After the success of our previous scheme, it was an obvious choice to hire via this route.
“This will be a unique opportunity for the candidate to build a successful career in the IT industry and make a real impact within an innovative and successful company as a Microsoft IT apprentice”
“At IMEX we offer a high level technical support service to a wide range of industries, therefore the apprentice will receive extensive experience of a broad range of technology.”
