Life after military service is topic of Wessex breakfast

Life in work after the Army is the topic of conversation at the next Wessex Chambers Business Breakfast.

Former Sandhurst and Army officer Simon Roffey will be telling networkers how demobbed military personnel can bring skills and experience to any workforce.

Simon’s company, Artemis Partners, pairs employers with individuals leaving the armed forces.

“Each applicant comes with an array of skills and training, they are team players but have the ability and desire to work independently. They can be relied upon to do a good job.

“They all have something to sell that makes them unique candidates, even if they do not wish to “show off” or prefer a sense of understatement about what they have achieved during their service,” says Simon.

The event takes place at Cumberwell Park Golf Club on Friday, July 25 from 7.30am until 9am. Attendance costs £13 for members and £41 for non-members.
