Hundreds of networkers gather for Wiltshire Business Expo 2014

Hundreds of visitors shared networking and business ideas at the Wiltshire Business Expo in Chippenham on Thursday.

Exploiting digital technology to improve business was the theme of the day, which welcomed more than 500 visitors and exhibitors with 130 stalls showcasing companies from across Wiltshire.

The event was addressed by a range of guest speakers on the digital theme. 

James Potter, ‘The LinkedIn Man’, explained how to get the best out of the business-oriented social network; Paul Goodenough of Aerian Studios talked about the implementation of digital strategies; Kate Doodson of IT company Cosmic looked at the rise of the internet economy; and Aaron Whiffin from Webbed Feet provided a live and unprepared website review in front of the audience.

The Wiltshire Business Expo 2014 was part of Wiltshire Council’s Legacy for Wiltshire programme. The Expo was first launched last year creating the opportunity for businesses to network, raise their profile and promote local products and services.

The event also also featured a Wealth of Wiltshire Fayre showcasing local crafts and produce.
