Health and wellbeing on the menu at business breakfast
Health and wellbeing, and the importance of it to the efficient running of businesses, is the topic of conversation at the next Swindon Chamber of Commerce business breakfast.
Speakers include Darren Aston, managing director of furniture supplies business Aston and James, mental health consultant Nick Wilson of Working Minds Matter, nutritionist Helen Money, and Suzanne Randall, market director at VSP Vision Care.
Darren will explain how an inactive workplace can impact in not only the short term but also the long term for both employees and employers. Nick will highlight the benefits of implementing a workplace mental health framework, providing support to individuals, organisations, businesses and its employees.
Helen will demonstrate how nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can maintain a high level of motivation, productivity and positive work ethic. And Suzanne will explain the importance of eye health.
The event takes place at Doubletree Hilton, Lydiard Fields, Great Western Way, Swindon SN5 8UZ from 7.30am until 10am on Friday, July 13. Attendance costs £24 for members and £36 for non-members.
