Fundraising is a piece of cake for rts employees
Staff at a Chippenham-based learning and development company netted more than £500 when they downed tools to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The 50 plus employees at rts Group made cakes – and ate them – to raise funds for the national, annual event run in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The £500 included a donation from Neil Davison of Thermocold, whose company maintains the air conditioning at rts’s headquarters.
“I am really proud of what we managed to achieve as a company, including the friends and family who came to join in the fun,” said Gemma Pritchard, rts’s central services manager, who organised the event. “Together we have been able to make a great contribution to this fantastic charity.”
rts Group was founded in 1989 and has been providing learning and development services to the automotive industry for 25 years.
With businesses across Europe, the Middle East, China and South Africa, it works primarily in the automotive sector and its clients are well-known manufacturers and brands, such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan.
