Free Swindon seminar looks at auto enrolment

Employers looking for help and advice about pensions auto enrolment can learn from the experts at a free seminar in Swindon.

The auto enrolment legislation means that every employer in the UK must automatically enrol workers into a workplace pension scheme if they are aged between 22 and state pension age, earn more than £10,000 a year, and work in the UK.

All UK companies – starting with the largest back in 2012 – have had to implement new pension procedures, but the staging dates for the smallest firms – of 160 employees and below – continue into 2015.

The seminar will be held at the offices of chartered accountants Banks BHG in Ermin Street, Swindon on Wednesday, February 4, and again on Wednesday, May 13, from 5.45pm until 7pm. The presentation will be followed by a light buffet.

Richard Mathews of Banks BHG said: “This complimentary seminar will take you through a full working example, from checking your staging date to full implementation. You simply cannot ignore Auto Enrolment so find out what it will mean to you, your employees and your business.”
