Find out how to get your hands on £2,000 of government cash

Sales trainer and business advisor Alison Edgar will be one of the keynote speakers at Growth Voucher roadshows in Swindon next week.

Alison, who is managing director of Sales Coaching Solutions Ltd, has organised a series of events, which are also being being held in Bristol,  Bath and Trowbridge.

The aim is to inform businesses across the south west about the government’s Growth Voucher programme which offers grants to small businesses looking to grow and develop.

Alison is the south west’s regional representative on the national panel for the Growth Voucher scheme and recently gave a presentation to Lord Young, enterprise adviser to the Prime Minister and leader of the initiative.

She is the founder of Sales Coaching Solutions, a specialist sales training provider. Her company focuses on sales and customer service training for start-up enterprises, SMEs and corporate organisations. Alison is recognised nationally as a pioneer for the Growth Voucher scheme.

“An investment of £30m has been set aside by the government to help small businesses. Many are entitled to a voucher for up to £2,000 to help finance strategic advice. These roadshows are interactive and intended to spread the word about the Growth Voucher scheme,” said Alison.

At the event Alison will be talking about smart marketing to attract and keep customers. Other speakers include Simon Cooper, from Monahans, talking about finance and cash flow and Rebecca Nicholls, from The HR Department, on recruiting and keeping staff.

Seminars will be held at Chiseldon House Hotel on Wednesday, October 1, and at Wessex Chambers, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge on Tuesday, October 7 from 8.30am to noon.
