Marlborough shopping arcade appoints new agent
Swindon-based commercial property consultants Kilpatrick & Co have been appointed as managing agents to Hughenden Yard, the specialist retail arcade in Marlborough.
Retailers trading from the arcade include national chains such as Monsoon alongside a host of independents, including bar and nightclub Azuza, award-winning hairstylist Goldsworthys and fashion shops B & Co, Vincents Menswear, and MA Clothing.
It is also home to Sound Knowledge – one of the county’s last remaining independent record shops – and beauty salon Rejuvenesce, while stationer WH Smith links into the centre.
The next arrival at the centre will be Moore & Bradfield, a bespoke furniture and interior design company with more than 35 years’ experience.
All but one of the 17 units in the centre, which lies on the northern side of the town’s historic high street, are occupied.
Andrew Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick & Co said: “Hughenden Yard is one of the few specialist retail arcades in Marlborough and the owners are aiming to attract high quality retailers to this popular town.”
Earlier this month, Marlborough High Street was singled out as one of the UK’s top ten independent retail hotspots by American Express.
