Businesses to be shown how to get the most from LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a ‘must have’ networking tool for business people and organisations, but too few are making the most of its potential.
That will be the message at a talk next Thursday, May 15, to Swindon business breakfast networking group, Business Village.
Lynda Gillingham, of Ardour Recruitment, and Mary Thomas, of Concise Training, will explain how to leverage LinkedIn. Called ‘How to use LinkedIn as a relationship marketing tool for business development’, Lynda and Mary will explore how LinkedIn can assist any business in building relationships and finding new leads.
“The context we are covering is to enable business owners or anyone else who has an interest in developing new or existing business to use LinkedIn more effectively,” said Lynda, director of Swindon-based Ardour Recruitment, a specialist sales, marketing and training recruitment consultancy.
“We will do this by sharing examples and tips that we have gathered from others and used ourselves.”
Mary’s company, Faringdon-based Concise Training, specialises in training business people in Microsoft Office and social media.
“Social Media can be a time-efficient and cost-effective way of marketing a business, and LinkedIn is an important part of that suite of social media tools, which isn’t being fully exploited by many businesses.”
The breakfast costs £10 and runs from 7.30 to 9am, at the Holiday Inn Express by junction 16, M4. All are welcome.
