Business Hunger Games comes to Swindon
It took the literary and cinematic worlds by storm. Now the Hunger Games – or the business version of it, at least – is coming to Swindon.
A presentation called Staging Your Presentations – The Business Hunger Games will be given by writers, directors and actors Andy Dickinson and James Rushbrooke at the January meeting of Business Scene’s Swindon Connections.
Using insights from the world of theatre, the double act will demonstrate how business owners and managers can improve their presentation skills to cement their authority and credibility: both to colleagues and to potential customers or clients.
They will talk about body language, movement, voice, visual aids, and the creation of content. To demonstrate they will use some engaging improvisations.
And they will end by staging their own presentation upon the fictitious – for now – Business Hunger Games.
The event, which will be held at the De Vere Hotel at Shaw Ridge Leisure Park on Thursday, January 30 from 6pm costs £10 to attend (free for Business Scene premium members).
