Awards ceremony was celebration of South Wiltshire’s best businesses
The best of business in the Salisbury area was celebrated at Salisbury City Hall when more than 600 business leaders came together for the South Wilts Business of the Year Awards.
Now in their 15th year, the awards – organised by Salisbury Chamber of Commerce – attracted entries from 114 companies.
Pet insurance company Animal Friends was named Business of the Year Award in the category of £5m+ turnover, while Blencowe Scaffolding celebrated its 50th anniversary by winning the Business of the Year Award for firms with a turnover of between £500k and £5m.
MW Ducket, a family run company specialising in Kitchen and Bathroom design and installation, won the Small Business of the year Award, while the title of Micro Business of the Year went to Jump a Roo Inflatables.
Salisbury-based tube bending and fabrication business David Hart Aerospace was named Manufacturer of the Year, and The Training Wing, a leading international training provider and consultancy that specialises in maritime security, close protection, and medical training was named New Business of the Year.
